Shakespeare Makes the Playoffs - Ron Koertge I read Shakespeare Bats Cleanup a year or two ago, and really enjoyed it at the time. I realized when I started reading this, the sequel, that I didn't actually remember all that much about the first book. But that's fine, because I still enjoyed this one. It's in a very readable voice, and I can't help but like the guy, even if I don't like what he's doing all the time. I do like that Kevin is an intentional poet. It makes the whole premise of a novel in verse make more sense when it's coming from an aspiring poet, instead of happening with no explanation at all.
