Urban Atrophy - Dan Haga Photos of abandoned places are fascinating to me. Seeing what happens to a place after it's been left to itself for years, and the things that get left behind... Things like this inspire the dystopian books that I love. The photos here (mostly of places in Maryland and a few surrounding states) are beautiful, carefully chosen, and also sad and a little disturbing. Some of these places have been demolished since the pictures were taken. A great book to look at, and it got me interested in the author's website.
