Locke & Key, Vol. 4: Keys to the Kingdom - Joe Hill, Gabriel Rodríguez Although the plot itself doesn't go very far for most of volume four, the storytelling itself is top notch. Anything that starts with a solid Calvin and Hobbes homage is bound to be good. And so it is, ending on the biggest bang of the series to date. I found myself especially liking the quieter, episodic February best. More work was done to advance the characters of Kinsey and Tyler in this one issue than in most of the series put together. I feel like a lot was foreshadowed, especially in Casualties, that doesn't come to fruition in this volume, but will later. And now I'm even more eager to get there, to see how that cliffhanger resolves.
